Vanessa Hudgens signs deal to become celebrity ambassador for online sports betting operator BetMGM

Vanessa Hudgens was named as a celebrity brand ambassador for BetMGM on Thursday and will appear in upcoming campaigns for the sports betting operator.

The 33-year-old actress also will be featured in promotions and on social media for BetMGM’s iGaming and casino platforms, according to a press release.

‘Vanessa Hudgens is extremely gifted and will be instrumental in BetMGM’s ongoing evolution as an entertainment company,’ said Matt Prevost, BetMGM chief revenue officer, in a statement.

‘We look forward to the partnership and her support in our goal of reaching new audiences in unique and engaging ways,’ he added.

The signing of the California native comes amid an expensive ballot-initiative campaign that could bring legalized sports betting to the nation’s most populous state.

There are two sports betting questions on the November ballot and the campaign is the most expensive ballot-initiative fight in US history at about $400 million and counting.

Proposition 27 is backed by BetMGM, DraftKings, FanDuel and other national sports betting operators. The proposal would change state law to allow online sports betting for adults over the Internet and on phones or other mobile devices.

A rival proposal backed by many Native American tribes, Proposition 26, would let people wager on sporting events in person at retail locations – casinos operated by tribes and the state’s four licensed horse racing tracks.

Vanessa and her good friend Ashley Benson, 32, recently launched their own Margalicious Margarits line in partnership with Thomas Ashbourne Craft Spirits.

They also teamed up with actress Rosario Dawson, 43, to create the margarita line.

Vanessa, Ashley and Rosario recently opened up to People about their business venture together and their long-lasting friendship.

‘These are women that I love and admire,’ Vanessa said. ‘I knew that we would be such a great team to put our heads together and create something that we’re really proud of and excited about.’

Vanessa and Ashley have been friends for years after becoming acquainted when they crossed paths in acting classes and Rosario said the entertainment industry brought the three of them together.

‘Stop the podcast!’ Lizzie Cundy slams Meghan Markle’s podcast for ‘worrying’ Royal Family

Meghan Markle, 41, had an extended break from the Archetypes podcast to coincide with the period of royal mourning for Queen Elizabeth II after her death on September 8. As the podcast begins again today, Lizzie Cundy, 54, has slammed the Suits actress for “worrying” the royals each week with its contents, believing that the only way forward following the Queen’s death would be for her to “stop” the Archetypes podcast.

The nation was pleased to see Prince Harry and Meghan join the future King, Prince William, and his wife Kate Middleton in Windsor earlier this month to see tributes left for the late Monarch.

Express.co.uk asked Lizzie if she thought William’s extended olive branch of inviting the isolated pair to Windsor would slow down their criticism of the monarchy.

Lizzie replied: “I think something like this makes you realise that the problems you think are huge aren’t that big and are they really worth it?

“Hopefully it will make them all reflect and there will be a way forward.

“For me I think the way forward would be if Harry dropped the book and if Meghan stopped the podcast.

“As they’re all family and I think that would be the only way. But I do think there’s hope now which I didn’t have before as I thought it had gone too far,” she added.

Lizzie also hoped Meghan being welcomed with open arms would leave the former actress to be “reflective” over her future actions.

She continued: “I really hope that they are really reflective and take a look at the country in its joint mourning.

“I hope she can maybe take a look at the love she is getting from the country.

“She walked along the side at Windsor with kids giving her flowers and many hugging her.

“And if she could see the love from the country and the grief of the king and the family she may take a step back and think it’s not worth doing?

Lizzie went on: “I do think what was written in the Cut magazine two weeks before the Queen’s death and the podcasts do cause the family a lot of worry for the royals and the rest of the world.”

However, Meghan has not cancelled her podcast and a new episode is due to be released today.

The official Spotify page reads: “Regularly scheduled episodes will resume Tuesday, October 4.”

The long-awaited episode in question features comedian Margaret Cho and TV host Lisa Ling, who join forces to discuss “the complicated world of the trope known as the dragon lady.”

Throughout each episode, the Duchess engages in intimate conversations centred around gender-specific stereotypes and labels.

When in England, Harry and Meghan have their own private home to stay in, Frogmore Cottage, which is located within the Great Windsor Estate.

The pair, however, permanently live in Montecito, California, since stepping down as senior members of the royal family in 2020.

Lizzie is currently a patron for Victoria’s Promise, a charity empowering young women and their families through cancer and beyond.

The charity was founded in the name of Victoria, a young lady who died in January 2014.

Victoria’s Promise have teamed up with renowned artist ‘Penny Crayon NFT’ to launch their own collection of digital art, the first of its kind.

Speaking about Victoria’s Promise and the Promise Bears, Lizzie said: “Victoria always loved bears and this is just a wonderful, lovely way to fund the sort of vital services that Victoria’s Promise gives to those supporting other girls going through cancer.”

Emmerdale spoilers: Cain Dingle heartbroken as Faith dies after taking own life

Earlier this year, fans of the ITV soap were heartbroken after learning that Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) will be leaving Emmerdale following her terminal cancer diagnosis. Next week, her battle will draw to an end as viewers will see one last emotional moment between her and son Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).

In June this year, Emmerdale fans watched as Faith confessed to her family she had terminal breast cancer following her disastrous birthday celebrations.Despite having the reputation as the resident bad boy, viewers have seen a different side to Cain as the mother and son have worked on mending their broken relationship. In emotional scenes, people learned that Cain hadn’t forgiven Faith for abandoning him as a child before the duo made amends following her imminent death.Since then, the son has been trying to find hospice care for his mother to live out her final days, however, unbeknownst to her family Faith has decided to take control herself.

Faith revealed to her daughter-in-law Moira Dingle (Natalie Robb) that before her cancer takes her life, she plans on ending it herself. In episodes set to air next week, Faith’s health will take a turn which means their planned trip may not be able to happen. With Faith determined that their trip to the seaside will still go ahead, Cain tries to find a solution to please his mum.Instead of travelling to the beach, her family, along with other residents in Emmerdale, decide to bring the seaside to the village.

Thrilled by the surprise, Faith takes everything that they’ve done in as she watches her family revel in the fun.Delighted with how perfect the day is going, things only get better for her when old friend Diane Sugden (Elizabeth Estensen) arrives.Squealing with happiness, Faith enjoys the rest of the event before viewers see her the next day alone in her room looking at memories from the day.Switching off her phone, she prepares to end her life as she had discussed previously with her daughter-in-law.

Her son arrives at the home and when he realises what his mum has done, he’s left devastated as all he can do for Faith now is try and keep her comfortable as she drifts closer to her death.Sally joined the ITV soap five years ago and has touched on how she feels about her character’s storyline coming to an end.In an interview with TV Times earlier this year, the actress admitted she found it “devastating” leaving certain people on the show.Touching on the heartbreaking storyline, she said: “I think [the storyline] is excellent. I haven’t read the scripts for her death, but I’m hoping it’s as positive as it can be. This isn’t just a story about cancer; it’s a wider story about family.”

Echoing her thoughts, actor Jeff spoke to ITV’s Lorraine about Sally’s exit from the show as he paid tribute to his soap mum.He commented: “I’m so upset about losing Sally Dexter. There are a few actors who come onto the set and you just can’t take your eyes off them and what they do.“We were doing something just last night and I was just mesmerised watching her. She’s so good and she’s just a joy to work with. She’s a great human being and I’m so sad we’re losing her.”Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.

Coronation Street spoilers: David Platt heartbroken as police make worrying Max discovery

Over the past few months, Coronation Street viewers have witnessed David Platt’s (Jack P Shephard) adoptive son Max (Paddy Beaver) cause mayhem for Weatherfield residents with it resulting in him being expelled from school. Despite trying to change his behaviour, in upcoming episodes, fans will suspect Max has some involvement with an anonymous internet troll.

At the end of last year, Max was permanently expelled from his school over false allegations made against his teacher Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).

After seeing Daniel spend time outside of school with Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) to help with her Oxford application, Max jumped to conclusions and accused him of being inappropriate with a student.

Making a public display at the Snow Ball where he expressed his beliefs about Daniel and Summer along with later on punching his teacher, the teen was permanently excluded.

Since then, Max has been attending the Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) and has been trying to turn a new leaf while, but unbeknownst to his parents he is being bullied by other students.

In episodes set to air next week, viewers will see the teen conduct an interview with his new friend from Iraq as part of a school project.

Impressed with Max’s glowing report, David and Shona (Julia Goulding) try to get him back into Weatherfield High but are left disappointed when Mrs Crawshaw tells them there isn’t any space.

Devastated that he’s unable to return, the youth accuses Daryan of stealing his place after learning that he’ll soon be starting at his former school.

While this is happening, Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) is feeling unsettled after seeing disparaging comments about her rehoming refugees in an online article

One of the comments, made by an anonymous online troll, gives away Maria’s palace of work which she showed David and Shona.

Going home David asks his son if he can use his laptop, but when Max refuses, he grows suspicious of what he could be hiding.

Revealing that her home address hasn’t yet been shared online, David confesses to Shona he thinks their son could be the person behind it to get back at Daryan for getting into Weatherfield High.

Confronting Max, the teen denies having any involvement in the online trolling as he later blanks David for having him interrogated by the police.

Still not convinced, David tells Shona they’ll see what the police end up discovering on Max’s laptop, although tensions in the home grow after the teen rows with his dad for having no faith in him.

Although when David receives a call from the police, they inform him that they’re on their way around to talk to them all.

A theory by Express.co.uk suggests that after the ongoing torment Max has been receiving, he’s slipped back into his old habits and is back to causing havoc for residents.

Could the police be about to inform David and Shona that their son has been exposed as the anonymous online troll? And what would that mean for his chances of getting back to school?

Speaking to Inside Soap earlier this year, actor Jack P Shepherd joked that his son in the ITV is similar to how his character David used to be.

He commented: “I suppose Max is getting the storylines that I used to get as a kid, and I’m sort of playing out Gail’s storylines now!

“But what an amazing achievement to be turning into Gail, because she’s one of the best-loved characters in the whole show.

“She’s second on the all-time amount of episode counts, just behind Bill Roache [who plays Coronation Street’s longest serving resident, Ken Barlow], which is great. So, to be compared to Gail is a huge honour in my eyes.”

The Voice: Blake Shelton begs for Bodie to join his team after singer gets all four judges to turn

Blake Shelton pulled out all the stops to win over Bodie after he got all four chairs to turn as the blind auditions continued on Monday’s episode of The Voice on NBC.

The 29-year-old father of three from Ladera Ranch, California, hoped that at least one of the coaches would turn for him and was shocked when all four did after he performed The Fray song You Found Me.

Blake, 46, was so determined to sign Bodie to his team that he jumped out of his chair when John Legend, 43, also turned around.

‘What is the matter with you?,’ Blake yelled. ‘Stop pushing your button when I push my button!’

John laughed it off as Blake’s wife Gwen Stefani, 53, then turned her chair around and Blake put his head in his hands.

Camila Cabello, 25, hovered her hand over her button and Blake told her to just do it.

‘I loved how you sounded,’ Camila said. ‘Blake is having a really bad run this season.’

‘I’m a desperate man,’ Blake said. ‘Man, listen your voice is incredible…You have what it takes to make it to the finale of The Voice. You’ve just got to pick the right coach that can get you there. I’ve been doing this a long time.’

Gwen told Bodie that she wanted to be his coach.

‘This is my time in my life to give back to somebody like you that has a dream,’ Gwen said. ‘I’m ready to do it.’

‘I’m going to say it one more time, I want you on my team,’ Blake said. ‘Let’s win this show together, Bodie! Come on! Please!’

‘I’m going to go with Abuelo Blake,’ Bodie said.

Blake jumped out of his chair celebrating and ran up and hugged Bodie.

‘Everybody wanted Bodie, and I got him,’ Blake said. ‘Bodie may have well saved my season 22 blind audition.’

Robert ‘Kique’ Gomez, 18, from Miami, who recently graduated from high school and collects reptiles, was the first contestant during the two-hour episode.

He performed Sean Kingston’s song Beautiful Girls and Gwen and Blake both turned around.

‘We are going to fight,’ Gwen declared.

‘Man, I was blown away by your voice and just how accurate you are with your pitch,’ Blake said.

‘Your kind of voice is one of my favorite kinds of voices,’ Gwen said.

    Kique chose Gwen.

‘I’m not going to say that I don’t care that Blake’s my husband, cause I care a lot, but I’m here to win,’ Gwen said in a confessional. ‘You are going down Shelton.’

Hillary Torchiana, 34, from West Chester, Pennsylvania went next. She talked about how she lost her cat and dog and all her belongings in a house fire before she took the stage. Hilary sang Easy On Me by Adele. Blake immediately turned around and he gained her for his team.

Hilary told John that she was getting married soon and their first dance was going to be to his song Never Break. John asked Hilary to bring her fiancé Joe on the stage and told them he was happy he would be a small part of their wedding.

Manu, 18, from Howell, New Jersey, revealed that she had previously been a contestant on The Voice Kids on Telemundo when she was 11 and on The Voice Kids in Colombia when she was 14.

She performed Lady Gaga’s song Shallow, but none of the judges turned around.

Sister duet partners Lindsay, 34, and Kasey, 30, both former Miss Marylands from La Plata, Maryland, went next. The two called their group the Marilynds and performed Lady A’s song What If I Never Get Over You.

John and Camila, 25, both turned around. The women told John they dreamed of singing with him.

‘Of course I want you to live your dream of you singing with John at the piano,’ Camila said. ‘But I was in a girl group for almost six years of my life. I know harmony and arrangement like the back of my hand.’

John said he used to sing with his siblings, too. He told them he had worked with country artists including Lady A.

In the end, they chose John.

‘You beat me this time,’ Camila said.

John turned for the next artist Solsong and also picked up Kara McKee, the 37-year-old daughter of Rhode Island Governor Daniel McKee, after she performed the song Woodstock.

Camila told Blake and Gwen that she couldn’t believe they had been together for seven years.

‘We are best friends,’ Gwen said.

Zach Newbould, 19, from Northborough, Massachusetts performed the King of Leon’s song Use Somebody. Camila and Gwen turned around at the same moment.

‘I love you,’ Gwen yelled. ‘Yes!’

‘Are you guys drunk or something? Why didn’t you turn around?’ Camila asked John and Blake.

    ‘Not yet,’ John said.

‘Actually, yes,’ Blake said. ‘Little bit, yes.’

‘I genuinely feel I can help you,’ Camila told Zach.

‘I was in a band for nine years before ”Just A Girl” even got on the radio,’ Gwen said. ‘I want to be your momager. I think I can help you.’

‘I’ve already lived my dream, now I just want to help you live your dream,’ she added.

‘You guys are making it hard right now,’ Zach said.

    Zach chose Camila.

‘What the hell,’ Gwen said. ‘He could have had a momager.’

Lana Love, 30, from Glendale, California, performed Mandy Moore’s song Candy. John turned around and she joined his team.

Daysia Renee, 17, from Leavenworth, Kansas, talked about losing her mother when she was 12 after getting hit by a car. She said she used music to cope with the loss. Daysia performed Patsy Cline’s song Crazy. Gwen and Blake both turned around.

Blake told her she had an amazing voice, but was a little sad to see how excited she got when Gwen turned around.

‘I mean she’s gorgeous,’ Daysia said.

‘I love the quality of your voice,’ Gwen said. ‘I have a lot of experience outside of the show.’

‘After 22 seasons, I don’t have any experience outside of this show,’ Blake said. ‘My entire life. I wake up here and I go to sleep here.’

‘For my coach I am picking Miss Gwen,’ Daysia said.

‘Mom and Dad battled and Mommy won,’ Gwen said to the camera.

‘My wife beat me again,’ Blake said. ‘It sucks on the show but it’s okay for home.’

Conner Sweeny, 23, shared that he was originally from Nashville and performed Cole Swindell’s song Ain’t Worth The Whiskey, but none of the judges turned around.

‘I was really impressed by your verses,’ John said.

Ansley Burns, 15, from Easley, South Carolina, talked about how her mother once secretly filmed her singing a Carrie Underwood song and posted it. When Carrie tweeted about it, Ansley said she freaked out. She said that Blake was her idol and hoped he would turn around. Ansley performed The Righteous Brothers song Unchained Melody.

Blake turned around, followed by Gwen who found out that Blake blocked her.

‘I got her!’ Blake said. ‘I literally used my block on my wife. Ansley you are stuck with me.’

    ‘I’m so honored,’ Ansley said.

Manasseh Samone, 22, a preschool teacher from Dallas, performed Lauren Daigle’s song Rescue, but none of the judges turned.

‘You’re a really gifted singer,’ Camila said.

The Voice will return Tuesday on NBC.

Abbie Chatfield says she is taking a break from a ‘labour intensive’ sex act

Abbie Chatfield has revealed she’s taking a break from a particular sex act as it is too ‘labour intensive’ for her.

Speaking to porn star Angela White on her podcast It’s A Lot, the former Bachelor star revealed she was sick of ‘the preparation’.

‘I’ve had to have a break from anal babe,’ Abbie said with a laugh.

‘I can’t be f**ked. No-one deserves that much effort from me at this current moment,’ she continued.

During the conversation, Angela revealed porn stars get paid based on the ‘level of labour’ for the scene.

It comes after Abbie revealed she has slept with 80 men while chatting with comedian Christian Hull on It’s A Lot.

‘Somebody asked me the other day how many people I’ve f**ked and they asked “over a thousand?” and I was like “I wish!”‘ she said.

    ‘I think I’ve f**ked, like, 80 people,’ Abbie added.

Christian was surprised by Abbie’s admission, which prompted her to explain it was just a ‘conservative’ estimate.

The Masked Singer judge posted a recap of the conversation on Instagram and many of her followers went wild over her confession.

Several fans responded with laughing emojis while others said they were stunned she had kept count.

Abbie recently enjoyed a sun-soaked holiday in Fiji and has been sharing racy pictures on Instagram following her split from ex-boyfriend Konrad Bień-Stephen.

She showed off her incredible figure in a bikini, ensuring fans got a good look at her ample cleavage and curvy derrière.

Abbie is deliberately uploading more raunchy pictures and videos on social media in the hope of attracting interested parties.

She bragged about her ‘thirst traps’ on her radio show Hot Nights, saying: ‘I am obviously single.

‘I wouldn’t say I’ve got a roster [of suggestive photos], but because of that I’ve uploaded some pretty racy stuff lately,’ she added.
