Kendall Jenner made a very fashionable impression when in New York City on Friday.
The 26-year-old supermodel was seen in a white crop top that flashed her toned tummy as well as acid-washed denim blue jeans, a butter yellow coat and black to-the-knee boots that matched her petite handbag.
This comes after the reality TV star talked her past fashion choices during the Vogue Life In Looks segment. One of the standouts was how she cried when she landed her first Vogue cover in September 2016 at the age of 20.
In the new images, Kendall looked like she was heading to a business meeting.
She wore a to-the-knee coat with a wide collar, double buttons and pockets that seemed perfect for autumn.
And the siren added a tight white tank top that looked as if it had been pulled up just so to show off her hard-won abs.
The jeans were high waisted with front pockets and an acid washed feeling. And her boots were to the knee, very pointy and had a wedge heels.
The star carried a small purse with a gold logo on front. Her sunglasses were narrow and her hair was worn parted in the middle and down.
The sister of Kylie Jenner added a small necklace.
This comes after she talked fashion with Vogue. The clip covered her style from 2007 until now.
During the video she said she cried when she landed her first Vogue cover.
The Kardashians marveled at her first 2016 September Issue Vogue cover: ‘One of the biggest, if not the biggest, fashion covers you can get.’
She then recalled how initially she was set to be on the April cover, and had already done the shoot, when her agent called and said it wasn’t going to print.
But then the agent shared that she had nabbed the more coveted September cover.
‘I lost it. I broke down in tears and I was just so excited,’ she shared.
And she also talked nudity on the runway as a teen.
She discussed the Marc Jacobs 2014 show where she wore a transparent brown top on the runway showing her chest even though she had just turned 18.
‘I was pretty chill, even though my boobies were out,’ she revealed adding that she told her agent: ‘I’m game, I don’t mind. I’m all good with the nipple.’
‘It didn’t make me any more nervous, I genuinely was just like, dope, whatever they want. It’s their vision, so let’s do it.’
Kendall discussed the experience while wearing a simple black T-shirt, with her brunette tresses cascading down in light waves.
The runway phenomenon explained: ‘This was my first high fashion show,’ she said, adding, ‘I actually could not believe that I was there.’
However, she wasn’t nervous and chalked it up to having ‘relatively flat shoes’ instead of heels.
The segment began with Kendall in 2007, at the Keeping Up With The Kardashians season 1 premiere.
The then 11-year-old Kendall looked adorable in a cheetah dress as she posed with her sister Kylie, half-sisters Kim Kardashian, Khloe, and Kourtney as well as mom Kris Jenner, dad Caitlyn Jenner, and producer Ryan Seacrest.
‘I remember these dresses so well. Kylie and I always had matching clothes. My mom and Kourtney had a store, a children’s clothing store called Smooch, so we would always go there to get all our clothing,’ she reminisced.
She also marveled at Kylie’s demeanor as a youth: ‘She was so confident when we were younger.’
The next look featured her first Met Gala in 2014, where she wore a stunning Topshop cream gown.
‘I felt really beautiful this night,’ Kendall reminisced, adding, ‘I look at it now and I’m like “Oh my gosh, I look like a baby.” But I felt like a woman.’
‘I was using Kim’s hair and makeup people, so I was like “I feel like I’m embracing this woman side of me.”‘
She also recalled having to lay in the back seat of a sedan because her ‘corset was so tight.’
The next look saw Kendall in 2015 posing for Vogue US in a blonde wig and a blue McQueen dress.
The model then looked back at her 2015 moment on the Givenchy runway where she wore a stunning pale pink gown with a fringe.
The reality TV star then laughed while discussing her 2016 Coachella outfit as she jokingly explained: ‘This was the vibe at the time, ok? You need to understand.’
‘Would I wear this now to Coachella or anywhere? I don’t think so.’
She also talked about a 2017 Vogue shoot where she stood on a horse, revealing the image was actually photoshopped and she had originally stood on a piece of plywood to achieve the illusion.
The beauty then moved on to an image of her and the late Virgil Abloh at the 2018 Met Gala, where she wore his Off White design.
‘Most of our conversations were over FaceTime, but you never felt like there was a disconnect. He always was putting all of his energy into it. So you always felt really comfortable and like safe in his arms, in a way.’
She also revealed she met Virgil through older half-sister Kim and her former husband Kanye West: ‘We walked down the aisle together for Kim and Kanye’s wedding.’
Another snap saw her and sister Kylie in 2020 recreating their childhood Halloween looks.
‘We look so uncomfortable and we just loved how awkward the photo is,’ she shared.
Another iconic look she talked about was the 2021 Met Gala, where she wore an Audrey Hepburn inspired transparent gown.
The model revealed that her after party look – a red hot mini dress – was also inspired by Audrey.
Aside from the glitz and glamour, Kendall also discussed one of her more low key outfits from 2022 when she was in Paris.
‘This feels like me,’ she stated, adding, ‘If I could wear one outfit for the rest of my life it would be something along the lines of this outfit.’
In the snap she was seen wearing brown vintage cowboy boots which she found at a vintage store in London, along with blue denim pants, an oversized brown leather jacket, and biker hat.
Kendall also shared that she is inspired by the 90’s girl look that includes icons like Kate Moss and Jane Birkin.
