Piers Morgan left his co-star Susanna Reid cringing on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain as he discussed his sex life with wife Celia Walden.
The broadcaster, 55, shocked as he opened up about his 'role play fantasies' with his journalist wife, 44, telling viewers how they mixed things up by pretending to be other people.
Susanna, 49, was left squirming as she urged Piers to stop discussing how he spiced up his sex life after he became stuck in a rut during lockdown.
The hilarity began when Susanna made reference to a recent article by Celia in which she joked that she'd had her 'fill of him', with her husband then giving suggestions on how to make things more exciting.
Susanna began by saying: 'By the way, your lovely wife was talking about your...'
Piers then jumped in by confirming: 'Role play? Yes', as Susanna continued: 'Can I just say, this isn't a private conversation - this is a national newspaper column in The Telegraph this morning!'
Going on to explain things in more detail, Piers went said: 'You know when you're stuck inside… So, my wife out of nowhere decided to tell this story.
'When you're with the same person all year and you can't really go anywhere or do anything, it does get a bit boring… So I suggested dinner together.'
Piers then began to directly read from Celia's column in which she told her presenter husband "I’ve sort of had my fill of you" after months of being stuck together, with Piers agreeing with her.
In the article, Celia then suggested they attend dinner together as different people and pretend they didn't know each other.
Celia said in her column: 'There would have to be rules of course, wedding rings would come off and we’d be allowed to only meet in the restaurant pub.
'We could do the whole , "Is this seat taken?" and I was already planning personas, outfits and lame first date topics when my husband forwarded this exchange.'
Susanna was left cringing as Piers elaborated: 'My wife asked me if I had any fantasies and I said I had just one, we pretend we’re complete strangers and we’ve never met.'
As Susanna begged her co-star to stop with his anecdote as it was before 8am, Piers jokingly brushed off her remarks as he called her a 'killjoy'.
Piers married Celia in 2010 and they share a nine-year-old daughter, Elise.
Good Morning Britain continues weekdays from 6am on ITV.
Sophie Monk has made no secret of wanting to settle down, making repeated public pleas to walk down the aisle and marry her boyfriend Joshua Gross.
And on Tuesday in Sydney, Joshua was spotted leaving the 40-year-old's favoured jeweller Luke Rose with a small gift bag in hand.
The 41-year-old medical supply executive, who has been dating Sophie for just over two years, appeared to make a quick getaway as he headed back to his car.
Joshua dressed casually in a white T-shirt, blue jeans, tan boots and a khaki jacket.
Perhaps wanting to go unnoticed, the businessman at times donned a pair of tinted aviator sunglasses.
A source close to Daily Mail Australia believes Joshua purchased a diamond ring, from Sophie's favoured jeweller, Luke Rose.
Should the couple be engaged, neither Joshua nor Sophie have made a public announcement on their respective Instagram pages.
Sophie has been dropping hints over the past few months that she wants to wed.
On their second anniversary back in June, the former Bardot singer posted several photos of the pair together to Instagram, alongside the caption: 'I love you so much and you're my best friend in the world. I can't wait to marry you (hint hint)'.
However, at the time, the cheeky plea had not translated to a ring.
Sophie told The Daily Telegraph in August: 'He just keeps laughing. I'm like, "Can you get the message? I'm doing it publicly".'
The former Love Island host added that it could not be more obvious what her intentions for her beloved are.
'I cannot make more of a hint without buying the ring!' she told the paper.
Sophie went on to reveal she would not ask Joshua herself as she fears being turned down.
'I want him to do it. I'm not traditional or anything. But what if he says no? It's pretty clear what I'll say,' she told the publication.
Sophie has been smitten with Joshua since they first met over two years ago, and they have been living at Sophie's luxurious $2.3million NSW Central Coast home.
They met on board an international flight in 2018 before he wined and dined her at LA celebrity hotspot Catch - a favourite with the likes of Kylie Jenner and David Beckham.
