Actress Bella Thorne has come to the defense of Armie Hammer after he denied sending disturbing messages about rape fantasies, BDSM and cannibalism to a woman that were leaked last week.
'I honestly can't believe this… people are crazy to fake this kinda s*** this poor guy and his kids like leave him and his family alone. No way he's a freaking CANNIBAL…..' the 23-year-old wrote on social media.
It appeared that the former Disney star was confused by the allegations - which were about alleged sexual fantasies and not actual cannibalism. Thorne added: 'Also there’s a million fake screen shots going around.'
Hammer, 34, has addressed the reports of disturbing messages to women, telling DailyMail.com in a statement: 'I'm not responding to these b******* claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for 4 months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic.'
On Wednesday DailyMail.com obtained concerning videos showing Hammer looking 'out of it', cracking open a beer while driving and licking white powder off his friend's hand.
The 34-year-old is seen in two separate clips, declaring 's**t's getting weird' after polishing off a white substance from a friend's hand and in another saying 'sending love, boys' after taking a swig from his beer can while behind the wheel.
Hammer began to trend on Twitter over the weekend after a series of sexually graphic Instagram DMs that he allegedly penned to a woman were leaked publicly by an anonymous, now-private account, House of Effie.
Hammer's estranged wife Elizabeth Chambers, whom he split from in July 2020, is said to be currently 'shocked and sickened' over the recent revelations.
A close friend exclusively told DailyMail.com: 'Armie had a whole other side to him that she wasn’t aware of. Whether it was always there and he kept it hidden, or something happened that changed him completely, she doesn't know.'
The Social Network star has also confirmed he was dropping out of his latest film - Shotgun Wedding with Jennifer Lopez - after the news was first reported earlier on Wednesday.
He said: 'Lionsgate is supporting me in this and I'm grateful to them for that.'
A Wednesday report from Page Six claimed that the actor was exiting the project, with production spokesperson saying: 'Given the imminent start date of 'Shotgun Wedding,' Armie has requested to step away from the film and we support him in his decision.'
Meanwhile, Hammer's estranged wife is said to be distraught over the leaked messages, which date back to 2016 and some are as recent as February 2020, a time period where Hammer was still married.
The two announced their 10-year marriage was over in July, as a source close to Chambers admitted she was aware of his infidelities, including being romantically involved with Lily James as DailyMail.com revealed last year, which led to their split.
But Hammer's alleged extreme kinks are a 'complete shock' to the mother-of-two, with the friend adding: 'Armie appears to be a monster.'
The friend said: 'A lot of these women have reached out to Elizabeth and although she didn't want to admit it to herself at first, she knows now they are speaking the truth.
'Armie had a whole other side to him that she wasn’t aware of. Whether it was always there and he kept it hidden, or something happened that changed him completely, she doesn't know.'
The insider claims that one of the women who contacted Chambers about her experience with Hammer was left so traumatized that she entered an 'intense rehab and therapy program because of his emotional and maybe physical abuse.'
The source added: 'He preyed upon her when she was coming out of a relationship. He made her feel very uncomfortable, the things he wanted to do made her very scared.'
The graphic Instagram DMs that Hammer allegedly penned to a woman included talk of rape fantasies, BDSM and cannibalism.
In one exchange, Hammer is seen to write: 'I am 100% a cannibal. I want to eat you.'
'F**k. That's scary to admit,' the message continues. 'I've never admitted that before.'
The authenticity of the screenshots has not yet been verified, however the woman behind the House of Effie account shared new alleged correspondences with Hammer on Tuesday, in which he appeared to refer to her as his 'slave'.
'You just live to obey me and be my slave,' a message purported to have been sent from Hammer's official Instagram account reads.
'I will own you. That's my soul. My brain. My spirit. My body. Would you come and be my property till you die?'
The message continues: 'If I wanted to cut off one of your toes and keep it with me in my pocket so I always had a piece of you in my possession?'
House of Effie attempted to prove their authenticity by sharing private photos alleged to be from Hammer.
In late December he shared his plans to leave Los Angeles to focus on becoming a 'legitimate pro fighter,' possibly in Miami.
And now Jake Paul has put his mansion in Calabasas, California on the market to speed up his transition from YouTuber to boxer.
The 23-year-old athlete listed the massive home, which was the site of an FBI raid in August, for $7 million, according to TMZ.
Calabasas is also where Kourtney Kardashian and Drake live.
The luxurious white home is situated on 3.5 acres and boasts eight bedrooms spread over an impressive 15,045 square feet.
In a video from October 2017, when he moved into the home, Paul excitedly gave his fans a tour.
The mansion telegraphs its elegance immediately with a grand three-story entrance featuring a spiral staircase.
The new owner's will be able to watch a movie in style thanks to the mansion's built-in theater, and the bar will come in handy for entertaining.
Other amenities include a home office and a gym for unwinding after a long day.
Paul's pool includes some nice features including two waterfalls, along with a spot for grilling.
In his introductory tour video, the social media star gave a breathless walk through the home to showcase its massive walk-in closets and the home gym, as well as its large upscale bathrooms.
Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles' Josh and Matt Altman, who have worked with Paul going back to when he bought the mansion in 2017, will be taking care of the listing.
The home features spectacular views of the surrounding area, and the driveway has room for around 20 cars.
The YouTuber took advantage of all that space in July when he threw a massive party, even as the coronavirus surged across LA, which drew widespread condemnation.
Paul also had a history of annoying his neighbors with his raucous antics and over-the-top parties.
In August, the FBI raided the mansion following Paul's arrest in Scottsdale, Arizona, after a protest in memory of George Floyd.
Federal agents walked out of the home with multiple firearms, and the raid was instigated by footage Paul posted that appeared to show him joining a riot in a shopping mall in Scottsdale.
In late December, the former Vine star announced he would be departing Los Angeles in order to get away from its myriad distractions, which he said kept him from properly focusing on his fighting career.
He's reportedly considering moving to Miami full-time after departing LA, though he also spends a fair amount of time in Las Vegas.

The Love Island star, 28, opted for the fun two-piece as she ditched her dressing gown to dance around the house to Riton and Nightcrawlers' Friday.
In the video, Malin was dressed in a nude silk robe as she chopped up some vegetables while lip-syncing to the hit in her kitchen.
As she danced around her counter she ditched the gown to unveil the lingerie underneath.
Malin, who has long promoted embracing your figure and body confidence, showed off her best moves in the beige bra with matching bottoms as she danced around the room.
Clearly excited about the coming weekend, Malin captioned her post: 'IT'S FRIIIDAAAAAAAY!!!!'
On Monday, Malin reflected on accepting her body despite a month of 'no routine, alcohol and unlimited food' in Dubai.
She shared a stunning lingerie-clad snap alongside an impassioned message, making a plea to her followers to join her in learning to love their bodies.
'It was a rollercoaster ride that consumed all my teenage and early adult years, a journey which I wouldn't wish on any of you...
'Coming back from Dubai after a month of no routine, alcohol and unlimited food - I looked in the mirror earlier and was pleasantly surprised at the fact I didn't feel an ounce of shame or guilt.. (we all have our days, but mine are happily over.)
'With the added pressure of lockdown again, we all feel that we have to incorporate a strict routine and eat well in fear of 'gaining weight'.. and honestly I think it's great to be healthy - but healthy doesn't mean putting PRESSURE on yourself...
'I did about 15 mins of exercise and felt sick today and then stopped.. I then said to myself 'cool, I'll do 20 tomorrow.'
'Finding balance in everything is important for us to be able to flow through this thing called life without carrying any negative or draining emotion. Allowing yourself the freedom to choose, and to make choices best for yourself, nobody else.
'Today choose to be kinder to you. Let go of society's expectation and go at your OWN steady pace.. this isn't a race - this is your precious mental health.. take away any comparison to others appearances and keep your eyes on your journey.
'Your journey is valid. You are important.'
