Newly released figures show the 2020 series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here has been one of the most watched in the show's 20 series history.
The 2020 series launched with 14.3 million viewers on Sunday November 15 - its biggest ever overall audience for the opening episode of the long-running series.
The first show of the 2020 series consolidated to an audience of 13.8m TV viewers [52% audience share] over the first seven days of its availability, the new figures show.
Last year's opening episode garnered 9.95million
With 0.5m viewers watching via non-TV devices in 2020, the total reached 14.3m viewers.
This is the biggest show of the year outside news specials - and ITV's biggest audience since the Croatia v England World Cup Semi-Final in 2018.
And the audience drew the second highest ever TV audience for the show with the 2004 series finale, when Kerry Katona was crowned Queen of the jungle, earning the most watched crown with 14.1m TV viewers.
The show attracted its third highest ever share of younger viewers with an average of 3.7m 16-34 year-old and a 75% audience share.
This was the biggest 16-34 audience of the year across all channels and ITV's biggest 16-34 audience since the 2018 launch of I'm A Celebrity.
More than half the available audience watched the launch, meaning the numbers were an increase of a million viewers compared with last year.
In its 18 year history, the episode was the fifth biggest launch ever, and the subsequent episodes have seen a steady rise ever since.
The show's opening week viewing figures saw a rise of around one million per night in the ITV1 show's first four episodes, it was revealed last week.
Since the launch up to last Wednesday's (November 18) episode, each night saw a rise of an average of one million viewers compared to 2019's first four days.
The show has made an historic move from the Australian jungle to a Welsh castle, and in doing so popularity appears to have soared.
The second episode of the 2020 series on Monday 16 November saw 10.04million tune in, compared to last year's second episode which garnered 9.04million, while episode three this year gained 9.40million while last year's third episode had 9.04million.
The fourth episode, which aired on Thursday, saw 8.84million viewers while episode four in 2019 garnered 8.05million viewers.
This years's show has been moved from the Australian jungle to Gwyrch Castle in Wales, due to the restrictions of the coronavirus pandemic.
The opening show saw celebrities including Vernon Kay, Beverley Callard and Mo Farah face a gruelling challenge as they journeyed into the castle, before taking on their first ever trial Gates From Hell.
Despite success in the ratings, the opening show prompted 134 Ofcom complaints.
Complainants wrote to Ofcom amid feelings that a scene in which DJ Jordan North was violently sick over a cliff shouldn't have been aired, while others complained over the show's treatment of animals.
Ofcom revealed 50 viewers had complained about the stomach-churning scenes, while 54 complaints had been recorded to date about the treatment of animals, including the meals for camp which comprised of eel and rabbit in the opening days.
Rebecca Judd has quit KIIS FM's 3pm Pick-Up radio show after three years on the air.
And on Monday, the 37-year-old addressed her departure, revealing that it was a 'family decision'.
Posting to her Instagram Stories, the AFL WAG shared a short clip in which she detailed her difficult decision.
'It wasn't an easy decision, but it's one I have sat on for months its a family decision,' she said.
'My husband has also walked away from his radio gig for next year and it's purely a result of us re-evaluating our lives and what's important to us as a family next year.'
She went on to explain on Monday's episode of the 3pm Pick-Up that as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, she and Chris want to spend more time with their children.
Rebecca and her husband, retired AFL star Chris Judd, share four children, son Oscar, nine, daughter Billie, six, and four-year-old twins Tom and Darcy.
'This year has taught us that we just want to take a step back and not really have those weekly commitments anymore,' she said.
'I've got such a young family and my twins start at school, not next year, but the year after, so I've got one year left with them and we really want to, as a family, really make the most of those golden years.'
However, Rebecca hinted that her departure from radio might not be permanent, adding: 'It might not be forever.'
Rebecca will be replaced in the afternoon time slot by comedian Kate Langbroek in 2021, the Australian Radio Network confirmed on Monday.
Kate will join Rebecca's 3pm Pick-Up co-hosts Katie 'Monty' Dimond and Yumi Stynes from January.
Rebecca had hosted the daily radio program alongside Monty for two days a week, while Yumi sat in her chair for the other three days.
ARN's chief content officer Duncan Campbell said of Rebecca's decision to quit the show: 'Bec Judd has been a fantastic contributor to 3pm Pick-Up.
'The engaging conversation, real-life anecdotes and fun that she brought to the show will be missed, but we wish her well on her next endeavours.'
An ARN spokesperson said that Rebecca was leaving the show because she wanted to 'take a break from media in the new year'.
The new line-up marks a return to ARN for Kate, who previously hosted KIIS FM's Hughesy and Kate drive show with Dave Hughes from 2015 to 2017.
She took a break from the spotlight last year after moving to Italy with her family, but will return to Melbourne in January.
'After our family adventures in Italy, I'm looking forward to returning to magnificent Australia - and ARN - and getting to speak my native language: radio,' Kate said.
Rebecca had joined KIIS FM's 3pm Pick-Up in 2017 alongside Yumi, replacing Monty's former co-host Meshel Laurie.
The mother of four quickly became a listener favourite, and earned a nomination for Best Newcomer at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards in 2017.
In addition to her radio career, Rebecca has worked for Channel Nine on and off for almost a decade.
She was appointed host of Victorian-based travel program Postcards in 2011, and joined Nine News Melbourne as a weather presenter three years later.
Rebecca also co-owns the popular activewear label Jaggad, alongside her husband and another footy couple.
The 3pm Pick-Up airs weekdays from 3pm to 4pm on KIIS FM
