Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane admitted Eden Hazard was low on confidence after the Belgian delivered another poor performance in his side's 2-1 defeat by Athletic Bilbao on Thursday to exit the Spanish Super Cup.

The Belgian, Real's record signing, has only scored two goals in all competitions this season and offered little in attack after failing to create much danger in last Saturday's 0-0 draw at Osasuna.

'He needs to recover confidence, play a great game or score a goal, just to do something different. We know what a great player he is and we need to be patient with him as he is working hard,' Zidane told reporters.

'We are behind him and we must give him time. The fans want to see the best version of Eden so we must be patient. We're sticking with him and he really wants to step up. But today it wasn't just Eden, we're all in this together.'

Hazard was named on Thursday as Belgian football's 125 years Ultimate Icon to celebrate the Royal Belgian Football Association's 125th anniversary.

Real won last year's Super Cup but they were caught out by an intense Athletic side improving quickly under the guidance of coach Marcelino, who was taking charge of his second match since succeeding Gaizka Garitano.

Raul Garcia put the Basques in front early after an error by Lucas Vazquez before converting a penalty to double the lead.

Karim Benzema's late goal set up a tense finish but Athletic held firm to reach Sunday's final against Barcelona.

'Today we struggled in the first half, we improved in the second but it wasn't enough,' added Zidane.

'We were not able to read the game well. They pressed us very well and we lost the ball a lot, which was unusual for us.

'We know there'll be a lot of external noise after this but we'll just focus on keep working hard.'

Iconic sitcom Friday Night Dinner will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a special documentary set to air later this year.

Channel 4 has given the green light for a 90-minute documentary about the popular sitcom but Big Talk Productions CEO Kenton Allen has hinted a seventh season doesn't look too likely at the moment.

The BAFTA-nominated show, which aired its first episode on February 25 2011, has run for six series and stars Simon Bird, Tamsin Greig, Paul Ritter and Tom Rosenthal as middle-class Jewish family, The Goodmans.

Speaking about the exciting announcement, Robert Popper said: 'I'm delighted that the cast and crew's amazing work is being recognised in this documentary - unless, of course, everything in it is entirely negative.'

Kenton Allen, Big Talk CEO: 'For the first time ever Friday Night Dinner Night will reveal the true story of how a tiny idea became a massive hit.

'In these incredibly difficult times, I couldn't be more delighted that Channel 4 have decided to take fans of the show behind the scenes to discover what it really takes to make a lovely bit of squirrel for millions of viewers.'

Fiona McDermott, Head of Comedy at Channel 4, added: 'Over the past ten years Friday Night Dinner has become a critically-acclaimed, ratings and award-winning smash hit, with viewers loving our dysfunctional family as much as we do.

'We're looking forward to spending an evening giving them the celebration they deserve, so we hope you can virtually gather your Mum, Dad, Auntie Val and your socially awkward (and distanced) neighbour and enjoy a lovely little night with The Goodman's.'

Bosses are not however planning to make another series for the time being.

Speaking about 'Friday Night Dinner' creator Robert Popper's plans, Kenton told Deadline: 'I don't think Robert wants to write a series where they bring their wives and children around.

'Never say never, but I suspect that's probably it for the time being.

'You never know. For the time being, we're not planning to make any more 'Friday Night Dinner'.'

Interviews for the documentary are currently being shot.

Series six came to an end with main characters Adam (Simon Bird) and Jonny (Tom Rosenthal) discovering their girlfriends, who were portrayed by Rebecca Humphries and Pearl Mackie respectively, were both pregnant, much to the lads' surprise.

This comes after Robert admitted in March last year there were 'no plans' to end the series.

Speaking in response to Simon saying he thought the sixth series will 'probably' be the programme's final season, Robert explained: 'That's news to me. Simon said it feels like it could be the last one. Well, I've no plans to end it now.

'You know, whenever you make a TV series, you always think, 'Well, that's probably our lot' - you never really know.

'But obviously, the show has now become successful, which is lovely.

'So you'd like to think they'd do it again. I think they would. But it's also down to me, if I want to do it again. So I always have to think, 'Do I want to do it again or not?'

'I love writing it. So who knows? I haven't got a thought like, 'I want to end it.' '
